Grassy Valley Youth Mission Statement
Our goal is to lead the youth of today to fall in love with God understanding the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. With this we will begin to seek the life God is calling each of us to lead and that just knowing the Word is not enough. Growing close to God and letting Him change our lives and through our lives others will see God in us. We need to have and show that love to others. We cannot just stand still we have to get into the fight and reach out to others. We pray that God’s love is seen in us. 1 Corinthians 13, Matthew 28:18-19
Wednesday
We have small groups on weds nights S.F.I.C Satisfied, fully, In, Christ. These classes are at the church and allow us to connect with each other. Smaller groups allow us to talk more openly and have a in depth study. the groups are now studying the "Case for Christ" this study answeres those questions that are hard to explain. The world is changing and the lies are convincing this study makes our faith stronger and helps us lead our friends and family to the Truth of Jesus.
Sunday Events
In addition to these great times at the Church, we also believe in fellowship time other than the typical church setting. We need to show the youth that God has a Joy for his children and laughter is good. We go on two trips a year one is a mission trip once a year to Princton Kentucy were we have the privilage of serving in a ministery that has reached many for Christ. The youth leave with a new knowledge of God. We laugh and have fun the whole time. The next is a trip where we grow in our faith. This trip is a lot of fun, fun, fun, but at the same time we are challenged to further our walk with Jesus. E-mail: youth@grassyvalley.org
9am sunday school classes the middle school classes are studying "The Christian Life" this a class teaching youth not to just come to church but to be a disciple of Jesus. Middle school and High School meet separately.
10:50am sunday school we all come together and our youth pastor teaches in series right now we are covering the question and answer we are answering those hard questions. Everything from Tattoos to Marriage.
